Akron (2017) Gay Movie

Akron is a gay romance written and directed by Brian O’Donnell with the help of Sasha King. It tells the story of Benny, a college freshman at the University of Akron situated in Ohio. During a football match, he meets Christopher, a student and a great athlete who fascinates him. With the complicity of their friends and family, the two boys will embark on a romantic journey that will soon be disturbed by an old tragic event involving both of their mothers. A fracture will then come to light and threatens their passionate relationship. The film is a stimulating family drama and a delicate love story with two complementary young men living in the Midwest, who will have to overcome a devastating revelation. Benny and Christopher are portrayed by Matthew Frias and Edmund Donovan. The movie Akron should be available on VOD in early 2017.
