Holding the Man (2016) Gay Film

A beautiful drama adapted from Timothy Conigrave’s 1995 memoir called Holding the Man. It tells the love story of two men which began when they were teenagers at their all-boys high school fifteen yeas ago. John and Tim, the first was a talented and recognized captain of the local football team and the second a novice and enthusiastic actor playing a minor part in the Shakespear’s famous theatrical piece Romeo and Juliet. Now, their relationship is strong enough to laught and safely crossed any difficulties like separations, discrimination, temptations, jealousies and the losses. But there is something that love can’t solve, something that almost destroyed them… Timothy Conigrave and John Caleo are portrayed by Ryan Corr and Craig Stott.
