La dérade, a gay short film by Pascal Latil

La dérade is a french tragedy written and directed by Pascal Latil. It tells the story of Simon, a young man who just lost his former lover in a car accident. After a heart transplant that saved his life, Simon learns that the donor is actually François, his deceased companion. He then goes on a northern beach of France to bid him farewell, understanding that they have saved each other’s life, although separated, they will end their days together… The film is primarily focused on the relationship of Simon and François, which gives a romantic flavor to the scenario despite its pretty sad genesis. The protagonists are portrayed by Yoann Moëss and Adrien Stasiulis.
