Naz & Maalik (2015) Gay Film

This drama is an interesting depiction of religious traditions challenging deep-rooted lifestyles in urban cities. In this story, Naz and Maalik are two friends who share a fruitful student life and a profitable business affair in Brooklyn. In fact, they are lovers surrounded by a strict environment governed by the spirit of Islam, which explains why they must hide to be together as a gay couple. One day, after taking the usual path that leads them to school, the two young Muslims attract the attention of an undercover FBI agent who decides to follow them. The scenario is truly clever and socially subversive. Both actors endorse their role with great applomb. Naz & Maalik are portrayed by Kerwin Johnson Junior and Curtiss Cook Jr.
