Paternity Leave (2015) Queer Cinema

We were enchanted by this charming comedy about Greg and Ken who shared four years together as a gay couple before to finds out thats one of them is pregant. Paternity Leave is a romantic film showing the genuine love and passionate relationship between two men who fantasize fatherhood, it’s a clever way to address the issue of paternity within a homosexual couple. The real question behind this discovery is: are they ready to being parents ? Greg and Ken are portrayed by Jacob York and Charlie David. It is a light and well thought out piece that aims to give us a good time without losing sight of our social anxieties.

I would love to see a sequel about Kens experience with pregnancy and delivery. the little sneak peek at the end of the film just wasn’t enough.
