Those People (2016) Gay Film

This fresco is a modern tragedy in which the plot revolves around Charlie’s character, a gay artist who paints tableaux for a living. He is in fact a Don Juan lost between his obsession for an old “faithful” friend and his new love interest: a renowned european pianist. The festive and baroque atmosphere of the film is royally tempered by the stunning aesthetics of images. The character’s presence is largely contrasting with the sad impression left by a love triangle situation. Those people was acclaimed in all festivals where the movie was nominated. Charlie, Sebastian and Tim are portrayed by Jonathan Gordon, Jason Ralph and Haaz Sleiman.
